Who qualifies for VAT Relief?
- You qualify for VAT relief if you have a disability or a long-term illness and you’re buying the product for your own personal or domestic use.
- You don’t have to buy the goods yourself. If your parent, guardian or spouse buys the goods or services for you, then you won’t be charged VAT.
By selecting one of the exemptions you agree to the following:
- You are a registered charity, are chronically sick or disabled or the products are being purchased on behalf of an individual who is chronically sick or disabled.
- The product being supplied is for personal or domestic use.
- You claim that the supply of the product is eligible for relief from VAT under the VAT Act 1994.
